How does the floating window remember its position?
Window size and position are stored locally in a small SameSite cookie for that installation.

The window can be moved, resized, maximized, hidden without losing its live state, closed or reset to its default geometry.
What is stored
Only display state such as size and position is kept in the browser cookie. Passwords, project files and terminal output are not stored there.
